Studio News:
Hello and thanks for checking in
on what's happening at Mosquito Studios. Besides recording many
records in the past year for Boston area
artists, producer/engineer Eric Saulnier has been hard at
work doing some movie and television scoring.
January 2006 started off with Eric
writing and recording score that was included in award winning
David
Sutherland's epic documentary "Country
Boys". The critically
acclaimed six hour series was broadcast on PBS's Fronline
over three nights in January and is available for viewing and
purchase on their website!
First
Act Guitar Studio in Boston has hired Mosquito Studios engineer
Eric Saulnier for live sound and recording of instore performances
by great artists such as Rob
Thomas, Jason
Mraz, Paul
Westerburg and many
others...
First
Act Guitars has proven themselves to be a leader in new guitar
design. A custom "one of a kind" B-Bender Tele model
can be found in the vast guitar selection at Mosquito Studios
and is available to all clients! ( pics coming soon ).
Fiddle player Nicky Sanders of Ashville,
NC bluegrass band Steep
Canyon Rangers was in Mosquito to lay some final score to
the long awaited Independant film The
Busker.
Boston/Worcester
rockers Boone
have recently mixed and released Mosquito born singles! Some of
these pop gems have made their way from Mosquito Studios into
the hands of talented mixing engineer Brian
Brown. After taking tracks from Mosquito, Brian utilized vintage
Fort Apache gear at The
Windham in Bellows Falls, VT for mixing. This is proof of
what great studio collaboration can achieve!
Brilliant Songwriter/Producer Katie
McD was in Mosquito Studios to produce up and coming young
songwriter Marina! Hired guns Brendan
Thomas, Mark
Shilansky and Andrea
Gillis' drummer Bruce Caporal all contributed talents to the
record.
Mixing is currently underway with Push
Stars' Dan McLoughlin at Hoboken's Garden
Street Recording.
