Hello and thanks for checking in
on what's happening at Mosquito Studios. Besides recording many
records in the past year for Boston area
artists, producer/engineer Eric Saulnier has been hard at
work doing some movie and television scoring. January 2006 started off with Eric
writing and recording score that was included in award winning
David
Sutherland's epic documentary "Country
Boys". The critically
acclaimed six hour series was broadcast on PBS's Fronline
over three nights in January and is available for viewing and
purchase on their website!
First
Act Guitars has proven themselves to be a leader in new guitar
design. A custom "one of a kind" B-Bender Tele model
can be found in the vast guitar selection at Mosquito Studios
and is available to all clients! ( pics coming soon ).

NC bluegrass band Steep
Canyon Rangers was in Mosquito to lay some final score to
the long awaited Independant film The
Busker. Boston/Worcester
rockers Boone
have recently mixed and released Mosquito born singles! Some of
these pop gems have made their way from Mosquito Studios into
the hands of talented mixing engineer Brian
Brown. After taking tracks from Mosquito, Brian utilized vintage
Fort Apache gear at The
Windham in Bellows Falls, VT for mixing. This is proof of
what great studio collaboration can achieve!
Eric Saulnier's band The Electric City have posted some Mosquito recordings on their webpage for free downloading!! Boston area blues-influenced band "Walk Dont Run" are currently finishing up tracking on their second album of great energy-driven melodic tunes! Swim To Shore of Worcester, MA just got a great write up in the Telegram and gave Mosquito a few shout-outs :) The article mentions the great cd "Fragile" that was recorded at Mosquito last year! Live recordings from The Abbey Lounge have continued to be a favorite at Mosquito Studios including The Scott Tarulli Group's "September in Boston" and the soon to ( hopefully ) be mixed Pleasure Club shows. Pleasure Club recently broke-up but lightening frontman James Hall continues to make killer music!!
